THE SOUNDS OF HEAVEN!

Tonight I went to a prophetic worship conference in Portland. In the front of the room, on the stage, the musicians were playing their instruments and the prophetic singer was releasing an anointed word of the LORD for Portland. The sound that stirred my spirit the most was the sound of the flags behind me. I had taken a moment to sit before the LORD during this prophetic word instead of dancing with the flags. Pondering . . .the sound of the flags . . . oh PAPA G, they sound just like the angel and cherubim wings in heaven. Suddenly, it became crystal clear why I worship with flags. There is only one reason: to bring the sound of heaven to earth . . .the sounds of the angel wings around HIS throne. To release the sounds of heaven in prophetic movement and dance. It is the same with the Glory Rings, they sound like HIS voice, the rain and the mist of GOD, the literal breath of heaven.

Tonight was like every other conference or church that I attend - I am cautious when I enter the building for the first time. I usually go in first and look around before I bring in my worship instruments. Is there room? Are there banners on the walls? Are there national flags hanging? Do they have a notice in their bulletin: "No worship instruments such as flags allowed." Will they let me worship with flags or Glory Rings? Or will I be given one of any number excuses possible, as I have heard them all in the last ten years.

Since I knew the worship leader and his passion for worship in spirit and in truth, tonight was filled with freedom. An invitation was given for heaven to come to earth. An open portal of Glory was called forth. The prophetic songs for Portland came forth in sweet, deep, richness rarely experienced in corporate worship. It truly was a kairos moment.

I am not writing this to all the passionate worshippers that I know, because they are familiar with the sounds of heaven and welcome the Glory of GOD in their midst. This letter is for all the pastors and leaders of places that shut their doors to those of us who worship perhaps a little differently. My prayer is that the next time someone comes to your church to worship with a Glory Ring or a Flag that you might consider welcoming them and even give them a little place in the back.

And perhaps the sound of heaven will come, the portal of heaven will open, the Glory of GOD will rain, the cherubim will hover and the wings of the angels will flutter in the background. And you will see JESUS walking among HIS people like HE did tonight. HE loves the sounds of heaven because it makes HIM feel at home!
