Lord you put many Songs
Into each others hearts
So we may recognize you the Conductor
From all the music that you start

At times you mean some to be at Rest
Whilst others sound the call
Then from the watchful waiting
You come rising from the All

Lord help us see each other
As your holy instruments
With you as the Only Heartbeat
And you as the only Wind

Lord give us all the patience
To wait to sound your call
As we listen for your Substance
For the benefit of the All

Lord give us all the courage
To rise up when you speak
Help us share your message
For the strong and for the weak

Lord show us your Mercy
When we miss your guiding hand
That may come to us quite boldly
From other parts of the Land

Lord guard us from temptation
That it is only we who see
For your song does play on endlessly
In the hearts of all who plea

I'll never judge another
Since you promised to be True
Whether I hear you from the mountaintops
Or I worship you from the pew

Lord help me to remember
You are not only deep in me
You reach far beyond my boundaries
Into everything I see
