'RINGS OF GLORY' Gene Johnson © 2006 05-04-06 Job 22:14, Proverbs 8:27, Isaiah 40:22 Mathematicians like to argue back and forth about what they consider to be the most perfect form in nature and the sciences. Some prefer the triangle, others the cube or square. For many, the circle is because it is so highly reflected throughout all of creation. From the shape of the stars, the earth and planets to the globular nature of cells and even atoms with their particle's traveling in ring like orbits around the nucleus. From the simple form of a droplet of water to the moon drifting in the night sky, the circle surely is a unique and accurate choice. In the Scriptures above we see three poignant reflections of God’s nature in the great circle and cycle of life. 1) The circle of heaven 2) The circle of the earth 3) The circle on the face of the deep Unlike the Greek/Roman linear thought that precedes out of rationale and logic that most of the Western world leans towards in it's thinking, we find a much different pathos in the God of Glory. With Him we see a God of Beginnings and Endings, Alpha and Omega, First and Last and the Author and Finisher of our faith. The journey of faith itself is one of starting out and coming full circle to finally end up fully mature at home base where we began. Just like the running of a race to win the prize at a finish line or the golden sun rising and then setting once again. The seasons begin and then in HIS timing come to a close. We are born and then eventually we die. The list could go on... With the wedding rings that are exchanged between the groom and bride on their wedding day, we see a ring or circle that is also the great symbol of continuance and unending love. Even though in this life we are stuck in the cycles of time where starts and stops are the order of life, one day God will end the process and we will then make our great leap into infinity. Forever then leaving time behind us to embark into that everlasting ring that will never be broken, eternity itself. I do believe it will be then and only then that we truly and fully understand the nature of God Himself and His unending purpose and love. For we, being such finite creatures held sway in this temporal life and time as we have been, it will without a doubt be the greatest of departures...

WE ARE SUCH TEMPORAL CREATURES HELD CAPTIVE BY TIME THIS SHALL NOT REMAIN FOR ONE DAY WE SHALL BE CHANGED AND TIME ITSELF SHALL BE NO MORE THE LORD DOES SIT UPON THE CIRCLE OF HEAVEN AND EARTH WATCHING HIS PLAN UNFOLD WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES HE HAS CHOSEN TIME AND SPACE HIS TOOLS TO BRING TO FRUITION HIS GREAT PURPOSE FOR ALL CREATED THINGS OF WHICH WE ARE THE CROWN OF THAT CREATION AND NEW CREATION ONE DAY SOON OURSELVES TO BE CROWNED FOR RUNNING THE COURSE START TO FINISH LINE, TO WIN
IN THE BEGINNING GOD... AND IN THE ENDING AS WELL.... GOD! FOR HE IS THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER THE FIRST AND THE LAST AND EVEN BEYOND THE LAST OFF INTO ETERNITY THE GOD OF THE ETERNAL CIRCLE THAT GOES ON AND ON UNENDING AS TRUE LOVE DOES AS TRUE FRIENDS DO AS ALL THINGS DO WORTH KEEPING REMEMBERING
AND THEN AS TIME SLIPS BY AND EVEN FADES INTO OBSCURITY THE THINGS THAT LAST MADE TO BE EVER...LASTING WILL NEVER THEN BE DIMINISHED HELD FOREVER IN FATHER’S GRAND HAND TO NEVER SLIP AWAY KEPT UP LOCKED UP AS A MEMORIAL TO THOSE THINGS SO PRECIOUS SO BEAUTIFUL SO VALUABLE THEY MUST BE SAVED, TREASURED INTO THE STOREHOUSES OF HEAVEN WHERE THE GLORY RINGS OF MEN AND WOMEN OF GOD THAT FOREVER FAMILY SHINE BRIGHTER AND BRIGHTER FOREVER AND EVER...
