1st Quarter 2007 Ministry Letter    

PERSONAL PONDERING ~

The Holy Spirit continues to invite us to move forward with HIS PRESENCE and PURPOSE usually requiring a bit of stretching, overcoming and the challenge to get out of the boat and walk on water. (Matthew 14) Was it getting out of the boat that was the most difficult for Peter or was it walking on stormy waters in the dark of night that required the most faith? Perhaps the greatest challenge was when he realized he was sinking and in fear he called for help? It is possible because the winds were contrary and the waves were tossing the boat that for a moment, Peter lost sight of JESUS and panicked. I have wondered about the other eleven in the boat…watching. What I admire about Peter is that in all of his humanity he got out of the boat and was willing to meet JESUS where HE was in the storm. When JESUS answered Peter’s inquiry with a resounding, “Come!” Peter moved immediately. In his obedience he left eleven friends behind in the boat. He was willing to risk what the other eleven were not willing to risk at that moment in time. Peter was a fisherman so the boat was a place of comfort and safety for him. He knew what the boat would provide in terms of protection from the storm but  he did not know what walking on the water would assure him. Peter did not wait for JESUS to come to him in the safety of the boat. Simply put…Peter got out of the boat. Are you willing to get out of your “boat” ….your place of comfort and safety and go meet JESUS when HE says, “Come!” Are you willing to leave your friends in the boat and keeping your eyes riveted on JESUS as HE beckons you to COME!

BEGINNING PROPHETIC GLORY RING WORKSHOP ~ SALEM, OR ~ 03.17.07

            Twenty-four attended from eleven Oregon cities: Newport, Salem, Keizer, Siletz, Eugene, Sweet Home, Myrtle Creek, Albany, Woodburn, Logsden and Fairview. For HIS GLORY! Additionally, there were 12-15 churches represented in the gathering, which is an amazing demonstration of the LORD bringing unity in the body of Christ! We had seven decades represented with youngest, Rita being 13 and the oldest, Ruth being 80. The gathering of generational blessings is so essential in this season. Each workshop is unique according the purpose and presence of the Holy Spirit. As one in attendance wrote:

March 18, 2007 - "I KNOW YOU MUST BE SWAMPED WITH E-MAILS i.e. THIS ONE, BUT MUST WRITE TO YOU. In 45 years of Christian "training" (and I've had some of the most renown teachers in the Christian world----primary focus has been on prayer----then service) I can't recall anyone who personally impacted me as much AS YOU!" PERSONAL UPDATE!

            January 2007 held a brief ministry trip to Springfield, Tennessee and my son’s wedding in Corvallis, Oregon. Shawn and Jodie Stoneberg were married on January 13, 2007 ~ A celebration of Covenant Promises.

During Pentecost 2006, the Holy Spirit revealed that HE would be moving me by Pentecost 2007. Initially, I hoped HE was speaking of a spiritual movement with HIM…an advancement in HIS Kingdom purposes on earth, yet HIS word also included a physical move as it often does.  Therefore, April was a full month with the joyous birth of my beautiful and healthy grandson, Caleb Jeremy Parker on April 12, a move to Albany, Oregon on April 21 and the completion of 54 out of 84 credits towards my Master’s of Divinity Degree at George Fox Evangelical Seminary on April 26.

The adrenal exhaustion that I was diagnosed with in 2004 has finally been restored and I am grateful the three-year season of limited energy has come to a close.  Glory to HIS Holy NAME! During this uncertain season of transition the Holy Spirit was faithful to send the following unexpected but very appreciated prophetic words from California and Tennessee.

Habakkuk 3:4 is the Scripture the Holy Spirit gave to me regarding the new ministry card enclosed.
