This is a brief introduction and representation of the many Scriptures
throughout the Holy Bible that give reference to Intercessory
Prayer Prophetic Worship Dance. The list has been developed
through a lifetime of study and research with a grateful heart to the
many that have contributed to my life from which this teaching is a
fruit of their mentoring and prayers.
Positioning Styles and Representations
Bowing (Nehemiah 8:6, Psalm 95:6)
Kneeling (Romans 14:11, Psalm 95:6)
Clapping (Psalm 47:1, Psalm 98:8)
Shouting (Joshua 6:5; Psalm 47:1; Psalm 100, Jeremiah 50:15; Joshua

Lifting Eyes (Psalm 123; Psalm 5:3)

Trusting Implicitly (Psalm 22:4).
Worship in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24).
Perseverance/Price
Make
a life commitment to JESUS; HE gave HIS whole life for you. What would
your life be like if YESHUA only gave 10% - a tithe on the cross?
Continually offer up a sacrifice of praise (Hebrews 13:15).
Present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God
(Romans 12:1).
Dignity…respectability versus barren life (II Samuel 6:14-23).
Suffer for the sake of Jesus (Philippians 1:29-30).
Delight in insults, hardships, persecutions (II Corinthians 12:10).
Prepare for purging/scourging ….holiness after chastening (Hebrews
12:6).
Effects and
Purpose of Worship
Releases the Manifest Presence of the LORD – God inhabits the praises of
HIS people (Psalm 22:3, Job 36:27, Ecclesiastes 11:3, Hosea 6:3, II
Chronicles 5:11-14, Exodus 29:41-46).
Connects us with our true purpose and gives wholeness (I Peter 2:9)
chosen generation a royal priesthood.
Releases Prophetic Anointing (II Kings 3:11-27, II Chronicles 29:27,
Colossians 3:16, Ephesians 3:19).
Releases the Supernatural Power of GOD (Acts 16:25-26, Jonah 2:9, II
Chronicles 20:21-22, II Chronicles 13:14-15).
Opens
us to the Holy Spirit’s revelation (Acts 13:2,3; II Kings 3:15-16,
Zechariah 10:1, Psalm 65:9, Deuteronomy 11:10-11, Job 36:27-29).
Brings Deliverance from satanic influences and tormenting demonic
activity (Psalms 32:7, Psalm 106:47, I Samuel 16:23, Acts 16:25-34).
Brings Unity and Intimacy (John 12:32 answers Jesus prayer in John
17:21).
Brings Salvation (Acts 16:25-34).
Defeats the enemy (II Chronicles 20:3) V3. 1,160,000 valiant
warriors; V18 All Judah and inhabitants fell down before the
LORD.
Praise Dance
Barak:
To bless, to praise, to kneel, to salute, to declare GOD’s power
(Judges 5:2, I Chronicles 29:10, Psalm 104:1, Ephesians 3:14, Philemon
2:10-11).
Hallal:
To be grateful, to confess, to brag or boast about GOD, to declare GOD’s
character, to shine, to be foolish, to rave, to celebrate, (I
Chronicles 16:4, Psalm 119:164).
Todah:
Sacrifice of praise, choreography, processions, offerings, thanksgiving,
worship (Psalm 50:23, Psalm 42:4, Psalm 50:14, Psalm 56:12, Psalm
95:2, Psalm 100:4, II Chronicles 29:31, Jeremiah 17:26).
Zaman:
Singing praise, pluck the strings of an instrument, and praise with
instruments (Psalm 57:7, I Chronicles 15:16, I Chronicles 16:9, Psalm
147:7).
Almos (Greek):
To celebrate with praises and
thanksgivings, to laugh. (Matthew 21:16, Acts 2:47, Romans 15:11).
Warfare
Dance
Bruise Satan under your Feet (Romans 16:20).
Yielded unto GOD (Romans 6:13).
Leaping in Victory, Deliverance (Psalm 18:29, Psalm 33, Psalm 34,
Psalm 37, Psalm 50).
Executing Vengeance (Psalm 149:3, Psalm 7, Psalm 8).
Mechowlah: Company of dancers. The word company is defined as
machaneh , which is an army of dancers.
Tehillah: (used 300 times in Scriptures) To sing a word, war
praise, high praise, GOD’s response to our Faith (Psalm 22:3).
Shabach: To shout, to triumph, proclaim victory over an
enemy, to raise loud noise, to give forth a war cry, to command, and to
glory (Luke 19:37-39, Psalm 63:3, Psalm 132:9, Psalm 147:12, Psalm
47:1, Psalm 35:27, II Chronicles 13:14-16, Joshua 6:16, Joshua 6:20-21,
Zechariah 4:7, Psalm 132:16).
Intercessory Dance
Chuwl, khool: (pronounced “Cool”) means to twist or whirl in
a circular motion, to dance, to bear, to wait, to tarry, to writhe in
pain (as in child birth), to bring forth, to rest, to shake, to trust,
to be wounded, to tremble, to be sore or in much pain, to fall in pain
from grief (Jeremiah 51:29, Hosea 13:13, Isaiah 26:17-18, Isaiah
42:13-15).
Yadah: To worship with extended hands, to throw your hands
out or up, to express thanksgiving, to sing a song of love to GOD, to
use your hands to cast out (II Chronicles 20:19-21, Psalm 134:2,
Nehemiah 8:6-7, Psalm 63:4, Exodus 17:8-12).
Megaluno (Greek): To make great, large or long, to magnify
(Luke 1:46).
Spontaneous Dance (I Samuel 18).
Psallo, Psalmos (Greek): To sing praise in spiritual ecstasy
or to make melody, a song of praise, to sing spontaneous words unto the
LORD (I Corinthians 14:15, Colossians 3:16, Ephesians 5:19).
Celebration Dance
Chagag: Move in a circle, to march in sacred
procession, to observe a festival, to be giddy, celebrate, dance, keep
or hold a solemn feast or holiday, to reel to and fro (I Chronicles
15:29).
The
men danced (Jeremiah 31:13).
The
women danced (Exodus 15:20).
God
Danced (Zephaniah 3:17).
