Counterfeit Camels

As I was driving through Montana last weekend the Holy Spirit dropped the words “Counterfeit Camels” into my spirit. Because I was praying about the workshop and those attending I knew that HE was speaking to me about someone that would be at the workshop. So I just held those two words in my spirit.

When entering Missoula, Montana Basin there are two large white letters on the hills surrounding the basin….the letter L and the letter M. L is for Loyola University and M is for Missoula. Lolo is where a portion of the movie the River Runs Through It was filmed. A very extravagantly green beautiful valley of God’s earth.

L & M – Lolo and Missoula. L & M are next to each other, back to back in the alphabet. At the workshop I could see that the LORD wanted the intercessors in Missoula and Lolo to be guarding each other’s backs and praying for each more and that the counterfeit gifts that had been brought to Lolo and Missoula needed to depart.

L & M…mmmm…..my parents owned a grocery store when I was growing up and we sold L & M cigarettes…seemed like a funny thing to remember at the time. Then the LORD revealed to me that counterfeit gifts had been brought to Lolo and Missoula and among those counterfeit gifts are many gambling casinos and occult/new age shops.  During our Prayer walk on Tuesday Morning after the workshop I took anointing oil to the new age store and to the casinos and prayed the blood of JESUS over them.

This is an advertisement for Camel Cigarettes. Some of you may remember the Joe Cool Camel advertisements. This is definitely a counterfeit camel!  This camel does not bring gifts from the LORD GOD!

Then the LORD gave me the following picture. Cigarette smoke and the smoke of incense. They look the same yet they smell different, they have a different purpose, and they have a different source.

The smoke of a camel cigarette brings death, it is the counterfeit, it is unholy, and unpleasing to GOD, it takes life out of you, it depletes your oxygen supply. The smoke of incense burned on the altar in the tabernacle represented: life, truth, the Holy of Holies. The incense made a pleasing aroma to the LORD.

Often in our lives we get smoke screens or smoke that is not of the LORD. It is a counterfeit smoke. Not the smoke of incense. Not the fragrance of the LORD. According to Webster’s Dictionary the word counterfeit means made in imitation of something genuine so as to deceive or defraud 2. pretended, sham, forgery, something that so closely resembles something else as to mislead, an imposter, a cheat, something that is false.

The smoke of a cigarette is the fullness of counterfeit comparing to the smoke of the incense in worship to the LORD GOD! One takes life! One gives Life!

At the Lolo, Montana Prophetic Glory Ring Workshop I met a woman with a "Rebecca" anointing. So I knew she was the one the LORD was speaking to me in relation to the word on “counterfeit camels” but I still did not have the fullness of what the LORD was saying. After the workshop a few of us gathered at High Point Church to pray and have communion, which was exceedingly sweet in the Spirit. During that time it was revealed that her husband had been diagnosed with a terminal liver disease.  That is a counterfeit gift (liver disease) carried by a counterfeit camel (the lab report) delivered by a counterfeit messenger (the doctor).  Please understand those involved in giving the reports probably did not know they were part of a counterfeit message. So we prayed!

In Genesis 24:15-67 is the testimony of Abraham sending his servant to bring a wife for his son, Isaac. Read verses 10-21.

Verse 10: There are 10 camels. It is a laborious task to bring water to ten camels. Filling the water jugs and carrying them to the camels would take a considerable amount of time and energy. Many trips on a hot dusty evening! Rebecca is willing to serve to the completion of the need. She did not stop at 2 camels. Sometimes we stop in the middle of what the LORD has asked us to do because we are tired, or cranky, or not in the mood, or something….. and guess what….. someone else receives the gift! You will get passed over, an entire generation was passed over in the wilderness because of their complaining and grumbling at the LORD!

Verse 12: The servant prays. Is the one bringing you messages or camels a person who prays to the LORD GOD or in this case the GOD of Abraham…one in the same! Typically a person reading tarot cards is not the one to receive a prophetic word from and then call it Godly! NO! NO! NO! God does not need to use witchcraft to speak to you! Does your gift of mercy prevent you from seeing the truth? Does your insecurity or fear prevent you from seeing the truth? What keeps you from seeing the fullness of the Truth of JESUS? If you don’t know, ask HIM!

The only antidote for a lie, is the truth...of course that being the person of JESUS CHRIST! When anything or anyone lies about you or to you, then speak the TRUTH to them! 

Verse 14: The servant puts out a fleece to the LORD….sometimes this is the best way to have the confidence that you are hearing and walking in obedience. Only you will be accountable to the LORD for your decisions…you can’t blame your parents, your counselor, your wife, your husband, your pastor, your brother, your sister, a prophetic word, or anyone else….it is about your relationship with the LORD!

Read verses 26-27.

Verse 26: The servant bowed and worshipped the LORD…..do we even take the time to thank the LORD for HIS gifts. How do we express our gratitude to each other, to our family, to the LORD?  When was the last time you wrote a thank you note? Or made a phone call to thank and bless someone?

Read verses 52-53.

Verse 52. Worshipping the LORD again and worshipping the LORD first! Do we really put GOD first in our lives? How do we demonstrate that?

Verse 5. The release of gifts…..How often do we expect the gifts, the rewards first? What is our heart really like? We pray and then stop worshipping until GOD answers our prayer? This is not HIS way! HIS way is that we worship HIM no matter what! That we demonstrate our trust of HIM through worship!

How to spy out a counterfeit camel?  Is the messenger led by the Holy Spirit? Does the messenger pray? Does the messenger worship? Is the messenger grateful? Does the messenger speak truthfully and with integrity (servant spoke words of Abraham accurately) Does the receiver bless the messenger?

FATHER, in the name of JESUS, Open our eyes to see the counterfeit messengers with the counterfeit camels carrying counterfeit gifts….Let the incense of YOUR presence bring us life and breath and health and truth. Let us be messengers of truth bringing camels laden with gifts of our Heavenly Father of Lights…..HIS good gifts!

Be prepared to go to the well, the camels are coming!
