APOSTOLIC AND PROPHETIC PRAYER JOURNEY TO STONEHENGE, ENGLAND

Last June 2006, the Lord placed Stonehenge, England strongly in my heart.  It is an ancient stone circle, erected about 3000-3500 years B.C. The biggest stones are at least 7 meters high. Stonehenge is covered with mysteries. Scientists, in search of answers, were only able to discover partly the truth about Stonehenge. 

Stonehenge was in ancient times not only used for astronomic purposes, but also used for heathen rituals. Horrible rituals, like human sacrifices, took place at Stonehenge. Druids held their secrets meetings. Up until now, Stonehenge is still attractive to people involved in all kinds of witchcraft, Wicca, freemasonry and idolatry.

The Lord set the date for the prayer journey on 23-24 September 2006, Rosh Hashanah-Jewish New Year. With the beginning of a new year, the Lord God wanted a new beginning for England. A deliverance from the ancient curse of Stonehenge, which held many people in captivity.

Our prayer team prepared with fasting and prayers. We went to Stonehenge with five members of the prayer team: Ronald (the Shofar Blower), Debora (his wife), Romana (Ronald’s sister), Dawn (a sister in Christ) and myself. Dawn is English, so to her this trip was very special. Before the trip started, the Lord has given to each one of us visions, pictures, words of wisdom and insight. Romana prepared anointing oil. She also made an arrow, which she saw in the spirit. An arrow to hit the enemy spiritually right into the heart. Debora wrote John 3:16 and Revelation 1:8 on a piece of paper, anointed it and put it in a mezuzah (a small Jewish “case” where you can put in a part of the Torah).  She took the mezuzah with her to Stonehenge. The Lord told me to bring a red rose along as a symbol for His love. He also directed me to anoint a white cloth with oil for healing. I anointed the cloth with HIS Holy Pure and Righteous Fire Holy Anointing Oil.

On September 23, in the middle of the night (2:30 a.m.), we drove to Calais, north of France. Arriving in Calais, we took the ferry at 7:30 a.m. We had a beautiful sunrise. Debora was inspired to write a poem, all to the Glory of God. After an hour and a half we arrived in Dover. The famous white cliffs of Dover are beautiful and impressive. It was exiting to be in England. We drove directly to Folkestone, a small village near the sea. At the beach, we offered Praise to the Lord and Ronald sounded the Shofar for the first time in England. The sound of the Shofar was taken by the wind to the sea. It was a sacred and holy moment! Romana, led by the Holy Spirit “drew” a star at the pebble beach. With her hands she removed, formed and shaped the pebbles, until it became a star. The next day, I received a vision about a star, but we didn’t see the prophetic connection with the star on the beach until we were back home.  

Vision: In the spirit I saw a bright star coming from heaven. It landed on one of the gigantic stones of Stonehenge. Slowly it rolled over the stone until it dropped in the middle of the circle. Suddenly the star became bigger and bigger. At the same time, it turned whiter and whiter. The radiance was so bright it almost hurt our eyes. Then, the star suddenly exploded, blowing all the stones into bits and pieces...Once standing so proudly, now there was nothing left of the stones, besides little pieces scattered on the ground. JESUS is called the BRIGHT MORNINGSTAR.

Judges 5:20 - THEY FOUGHT FROM HEAVEN; THE STARS IN THEIR COURSES, FOUGHT AGAINST SISERA.    

We prayed for the sea, proclaiming the name of Jesus. We asked for forgiveness and cleansing from sin. Curses were broken in the holy name of Jesus. The Lord gave me a picture of demons living in sea. We asked God to destroy the power of the kingdom of these evil spirits, dwelling in the depth of the sea. Then the Holy Spirit said to me to take the little white cloth, which was anointed with oil for healing. I had to throw it into the sea, so I did in obedience. The waves carried the cloth into the wide-open sea. Glory is to Jesus for HIS healing!

Early afternoon we finally arrived at Salisbury, a place near Stonehenge. We checked in for the night at a B & B. Then we drove off to Stonehenge, our final destination. After 15 minutes, in the distance we saw the stone circle loom up. There it proudly stands on the Salisbury Plains, worshipped for centuries. Stonehenge is a world-famous tourist attraction, so that day there was many (international) visitors, too.

We parked the car, paid our entrance fee and walked the path that led to the stones. The visitors were not aloud to enter the centre of the stones (in some special occasions only), so we walked all around it one time. At a certain point, we passed the Slaughter Stone. This was the place, about 30 meters outside the inner circle, where the human sacrifices took place. After the walk, we sat down all together to search the wisdom of God and to pray for His guidance.  

First we command the dark spirits to let go in Jesus name. They were trying to intimidate us with fear and shame towards people, attacking our boldness and liberty in the Lord. Then we read from the Scriptures: Proverbs and Judges (Samson). Dawn danced with a white veil, symbolizing the Holy Spirit and Romana wore a Jewish prayer shawl. In the spirit, the Lord gave us a picture of the god of the sun that has been worshipped for ages in Stonehenge. As a mighty ruler he reigned. He looked like a giant, sitting on the stones, using it as a bench. But then I saw in the spirit, how the POWER and the TRUTH of the SCRIPTURE, GOD'S WORD that we were proclaiming that moment, became an arrow that hit the heart of the god of the sun! It was the same arrow Romana made at home, inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit also showed us curses, written with blood on the stones. I sensed in the spirit, that the blood was also from the poor victims sacrificed on the Slaughter Stone. Which we prayed to God to break these ancient curses, so that they can no longer destroy and rule over people's lives. We asked the Lord to cleanse and wash the stones with clear and holy water from heaven. Romana and Dawn walked again all around the stones, this time with anointing oil dripping out of a bottle. A visible circle of oil was “drawn” on the ground, but in the spirit realm it was a ring of heavenly fire! God’s fire that will stop every evil influence to enter the stone circle ever again.

A guard noticed the walk around the stones with the anointing oil; he was not pleased about it at all. Stonehenge is on the list of English Heritage therefore, it is well protected. The same guard was very strict. He hoped that we did not damage the stones, was his remark. Obviously olive oil will not damage a stone. Now, this is the humour or of it - if he only knew what kind of damage we brought to the stones spiritually........!!

The red rose, instructed by the Holy Spirit to take with us, was meant to place on the Slaughter Stone. With this rose, the Lord wants to express His deep love to those who were sacrificed to the idols and especially to the god of the sun. It was as if He said, "I have seen all evil done to you and I have heard every cry...But it is over now, every curse has been broken." Since we weren’t allowed to come near the stone, we asked a guard to place the rose on the stone. (The guard represents the authority in the place.)

In the meantime, three hours had past. Closing time was 6 p.m. We had one hour left to finish the assignment. We Praised and Worshipped the Lord with all of our hearts. Ronald sounded the Shofar...all to the Glory of God. Romana sang Psalm 81. It is a Psalm about Rosh Hashanah. (Interesting connection of Revelation 1:8 and Psalm 81 regarding the beginning and the end, the alpha and the omega.) Dawn danced with red, white and blue veils. Symbolizing the Holy Spirit, Jesus love, His blood and cleansing heavenly water. Red, white and blue are also the colours of the English flag.

 The highlight was the Holy Communion, as the Holy Spirit instructed. It was God's holy will to celebrate communion at Stonehenge. It was a perfect way to end the assignment. Debora buried the mezuzah, containing parts of the Scripture, in the ground as an everlasting remembrance to God's mercy and grace for Stonehenge. 

The Holy Spirit touched many visitors, who witnessed our worship, dancing and blowing the Shofar. We were able to testify about the Lord and our mission.

Psalm 105:1 - GIVE THANKS UNTO THE LORD! CALL UPON HIS NAME! MAKE KNOWN HIS DEEDS AMONG THE PEOPLE!

Yes, let it be known worldwide what the Lord has done on 23 September 2006 – Rosh Hashanah. All over the world in Jewish communities the Shofar sounded! On the same day, by God's grace, we sounded the Shofar at Stonehenge-England.  

We thank the Lord for His protection and guidance. We bow our heads in respect and awe to the MOST HIGH GOD, to KING YESHUA. AMEN!
