PROPHETIC PRAYER JOURNEY TO PARIS
– FRANCE

During a prayer
meeting, at the end of 2006, I received a vision from
the Lord. In the spirit I saw our prayer team and myself
standing underneath the Arc de Triumph in Paris. This
Arch of Triumph is one of the most famous monuments in
Paris. It was built to honour emperor Napoleon for his
victories. In the vision we were praying and worshipping
the Lord. And He said: “I am your triumph. You have
triumphed and you shall triumph over situations”. God’s
hand is like an arch of triumph over His sons and
daughters.
I shared the
vision with the group and we prayed to God, for His Holy
spirit to give us wisdom and insight. In my heart I
already knew we had to go to Paris.
A few weeks, or
maybe a month or so later, God spoke to me about the
timing. He said to go in the spring (2007) to Paris. “A
new beginning for France,” He added. And so we prepared
ourselves for Paris.
One time, after
the vision from Paris, an update of the upcoming Glory
Rings from the HGRM came in by e-mail. There was also a
Paris-France Glory Ring on the list. I noticed that no
contact person for the ring was mentioned. Since I had
plans to go to Paris in the spring of 2007, I offered
Jennifer to be the contact person for the France Glory
Ring. I sensed in the spirit that this was God’s
direction and intention. Jennifer’s answer was that my
name would be put on the list for the Paris-France Glory
Ring. Hallelujah!
Holland has
historical connections with France. For instance,
Napoleon spent some time here, as we have a main road
which was built by Napoleon. It is even named after
Napoleon. This road connects the town where I live to a
small village nearby.
Paris, the
capital city of France, is situated on the river Seine.
The city was founded towards the end of the third
century B.C. by a Celtic tribe, the Parisii. The tribe
settled on an island in the river that is the
present-day Ile de la Cité, the centre around which
Paris developed.
The Celts held
their heathen services on this island in the Seine.
Later the Romans built their own temple dedicated to
Jupiter on the same spot, followed by a basilica and a
Romanesque church. And now the famous Notre Dame
cathedral, build about 700 years ago, stands on the same
place. It is common that cathedrals, churches and other
religious buildings are built on the remnants of heathen
and idolatrous places, dedicated to their gods. To know
about historical facts concerning the birth of Paris,
brings a deeper cry to God to break ancient curses and
to send forgiveness over the sins of this nation. And
God certainly hears the cry of His children. Oh yes, His
eyes are upon France.
God didn’t send
us to the Notre Dame. Other intercessors already prayed
there.
In the following
months after the vision of Paris, the Holy Spirit
revealed specific places in Paris where we had to pray
and set free in Yeshua’s name. The glass pyramids in
front of the famous art museum Louvre was one of them.
There is one large pyramid, which is the entrance to the
museum as well, and on each side of the large one are
glass pyramids of smaller size. There is also a glass
pyramid pointing downwards that functions as a skylight
in an underground mall in front of the museum. These
pyramids are much more than architectural art only. The
shape and the meaning of it is related to the Egyptian
pyramids. Monuments to honour false gods. Interesting to
mention is that Vatican city is building a glass pyramid
as well, similar to the one in front of Louvre. Vatican
Museum is the location. It should be ready in 2010.
I have lived for
over forty years in Holland and I never knew that my
country has a pyramid as well. It is called the “Pyramid
of Austerlitz” and located more or less in the middle of
Holland. In 1804 a French marshal named Marmont
instructed to build the monument to honour Napoleon
after his victorious battle in Austerlitz (Czech
Republic). Marmont was inspired by the pyramid of Gizeh
in Egypt. In preparation of Paris, God send us to this
the pyramid of Austerlitz to pray and to blow the
shofar.
A few weeks
before departure to Paris, we as a team went to the
pyramid of Austerlitz. As we arrived we saw barbed wire
around the monument. The renovation wasn’t finished at
that time. Well, what now……we asked ourselves. How do
we get to the top of the pyramid. We saw wooden
staircases on two sides of the monument, so it was
possible to climb to the top.
But the wire was
a problem. We didn’t want to trespass. We prayed and
asked the Holy Spirit for direction. After the prayer we
walked around the pyramid. Suddenly we discovered an
opening in the wire, as if someone walked through it. We
also noticed footsteps in the sand printed. These
footsteps went in the direction of the monument. To us
this was a sign that we have the permission of the Lord
to enter. What could stop us now?!
We prayed for
Yeshua’s blood over the area to cleanse from sin and for
His spirit to heal and restore. Debby, Ronald’s wife,
received from the Lord to make a hole in the ground and
to fill it with anointing oil. We all had to dip our
feet in the oil. After this act Ronald and Romana went
up the pyramid. I stayed down with Debby to pray. Romana
brought a red veil with her, symbolizing Jesus’ blood
and oil for the healing and restoration. As she went up
she strongly felt that God was as the sky above us, the
earth below, we were in Him and He in us. We were
ambassadors of heaven and therefore justified to go in
Jesus’ name. The 83 steps to the top were very steep. On
top of the pyramid was an obelisk. Ronald sounded the
shofar three times in all the four directions while
Romana walked around the obelisk dripping oil on the
ground. She also anointed the four sides of the obelisk.
Then she held up the red veil and prayers were lifted up
to heaven. Claiming the pyramid for God, breaking the
strongholds and curses in His holy name. God’s power was
proclaimed over the whole area. Parts of proverbs and
psalm 18 was read out loud:
I WILL
LOVE THEE, O LORD, MY STRENGTH. THE LORD IS MY
ROCK, AND MY FORTRESS, AND MY DELIVERER; MY GOD,
MY STRENGTH, IN WHOM I WILL TRUST; MY BUCKLER,
AND THE HORN OF MY SALVATION, AND MY HIGH
TOWER. I WILL CALL UPON THE LORD, WHO IS
WORTHY TO BE PRAISED: SO SHALL I BE SAVED FROM
MINE ENEMIES…………..
Then again
Ronald blew the shofar three times in all the four
directions and Romana worshipped the Lord with songs.
Once down, they walked around the monument for the last
time.
Unfortunately I
couldn’t take pictures with my camera as Ronald and
Romana were at the top of the pyramid. Just before they
climbed the steps of the pyramid, the batteries of my
digital camera failed. I always have a pair of
rechargeable batteries with me, but they too didn’t
work. That was strange but fortunately I took some
pictures before my camera stopped.
Official
research uncovers connecting lines between Austerlitz,
Paris, Jerusalem and Gizeh, where the pyramid of Cheops
is located. There is more to it then some may think. The
setting is strategic and deliberate. But whatever the
thought behind it was…..it is broken in Jesus’ name! His
blood covers it all.
Glory Ring 2005
was given to Erin Gagnon. She moved to France April
2006. Jennifer connected me with her. And what a divine
connection it is! Erin and I e-mailed a few times. We
made an appointment to meet each other at the Arc de
Triumph. Date: April 28, 2007. Time: between 2.30 and 3
pm. She asked if some friends of her, prayer warriors as
well could come along. “Of course, it would be
wonderful,” I answered. We both looked forward to meet
each other.
In the meantime
the Glory Ring 2007 arrived at my home. It was on a
Wednesday, April 25.
The next day I
brought the Glory Ring to a weekly prayer meeting with
our team. During prayer I lifted the Ring before God’s
throne with eyes closed. As I opened my eyes for a
moment I saw something on the floor. It was a bracelet
with music instruments: piano, cello, violin……It came
off from the Glory Ring. I was exited and thrilled. God
is moving in France and He starts with the anointing of
musicians. This anointing will bring forth new songs,
prophetic songs, songs of healing and restoration. Songs
and music from heaven…..
I reported it
immediately to Jennifer, she placed my testimonies on
the website.
That same
evening something else took place. André and Sylvia, his
wife, brought a shofar along. God urged them to blow the
shofar too. They never blew on the shofar before. We
prayed and the Holy Spirit directed Debby to anoint the
shofar, which she did in obedience to the Lord. The
timing of the new shofar was just perfect; only two days
before our trip to Paris. Now our team has two shofar
blowers! How powerful, glory to God! Jennifer mentioned
double portion in this spiritual season.…..well, isn’t
this a wonderful confirmation?

PARIS
We travelled by
coach to Paris. Before we stepped into the coach, we
prayed for guidance and protection. In the spirit I saw
an army of angels descend from heaven. They were dressed
as soldiers. Angelic warriors, with sandals on their
feet. The braided cords of the sandals reached their
knees. I just smiled at God and thanked Him. Romana saw
music in our hearts offered to God. Our journey was to
glorify and honour Him with our songs of praise. The
Lord also revealed to her the oil in our hands and that
angels would show us the way.
We arrived on
schedule in Paris. In the past I’ve visited Paris twice,
but for some of the team it was the first time. The
driver dropped us at a meeting point, then we walked up
to the Arc de Triumph. It was a beautiful sunny day; the
city was crowded with international tourists.
Arriving at the
Arc de Triumph, we discovered that a few hundred others
had that terrific idea to visit the Arc as well. My
goodness, so many people! How we were able to find Erin
amongst them? I didn’t even know what she looked like.
God, please God…..we need your help I prayed silently.
Romana was directed by the Holy Spirit to anoint our
hands, which she did. After the anointing and prayer, we
walked around the Arch, while Ronald and André sounded
the shofar. Out of sight of the guards, though. We were
pretty sure that if the guards/police spotted them, they
will be requested to stop blowing. By the way, all over
Paris city were policemen for safety reasons, especially
at the touristy places. It reminded me of Israël where
the sight of police on the street is just as “common” as
daily bread. While walking around the Arc, Romana sung
and read out loud psalms 24, 77, 146. All psalms exalts
God; the King of Kings entering gates…….

Half an hour
passed, it was almost 3 pm., still no Erin. I opened the
bag where I had the Glory Ring and passed it on to
Romana, She walked holding the ring while again the
shofar sounded for the second time. As the third time
the shofar sounded, guards came towards us. Friendly but
firm they said that it was forbidden to make “noise”
since the monument has to be respected. Quite a
ridiculous statement because there was so much noise
from the cars and other vehicles around the monument
that in times we had to raise our voices to understand
each other. But of course we followed their instruction.
And then
suddenly a woman walked towards us…..she carried a Glory
Ring. Erin! Praise God. She gave us such a warm welcome,
we immediately connected in the spirit. She said she was
praying because she couldn’t find us either. But then
she heard the shofar. She followed the sound and after
seeing Romana standing with the Glory Ring……. this must
be the team from Holland.
This is what I
love about God. His hand in every situation. Erin walked
towards the sound of the shofar, it’s like following
God’s voice. He drew attention using the shofar, this
was so obvious led by the Holy spirit and again, perfect
in time…..it was 3 pm.
Erin said she
was inspired by the Holy Spirit to dress blue and white
, Romana wore red and white, inspired by the Spirit too.
Together they matched as the French flag: blue, white,
red. On one of the photo’s you can see an enormous
French flag hanging in the middle of the Arc.

Ten minutes
later, Erin’s Pastor and another member of the church
joined us. The church is named Salem Faith Foundation
Church. Erin shared with us that she brought oil and
salt with her. It was Dutch salt; symbolic to us as a
team, spiritual salt from Holland (Matthew 5:13) This
was so encouraging. After the first introduction we
started with prayer for Paris. Ronald and André had to
cross the street (since it was forbidden to sound the
shofar near the Arc). In the spirit we were like
watchers of the city gates. We prayed for forgiveness
and cleansing from sin. We asked for healing and
restoration and declared freedom and victory. The
prayers were characterised by compassion, love and fire
for the city and the whole nation. The moment that we
prayed for cleansing, I saw in the spirit heavenly water
gushing through the middle of Arc right into the city
centre. It wasn’t like a calm river flowing, but with
power as if a dam broke, releasing its waters. Glory to
God!
We continued our
prayer walk. Our next location was the glass pyramid. On
the way we passed Place de la Concorde. One of the major
squares in Paris. The centre of the square is occupied
by a giant Egyptian obelisk decorated with hieroglyphics
exalting the reign of the pharaoh Ramses II. It once
marked the entrance to the Luxor temple. During the
French revolution, a guillotine stood at the obelisk
current location. The obelisk is one of three
“Cleopatra’s” Needles, the other two stands in London
and New York.
We prayed at the
square. Romana dripped oil, she made a circle around us
for protection. The Holy Spirit directed her. In Jesus
name we destroyed evil strongholds and broke down
influences of the Egyptian gods. The pastor prayed a
powerful prayer about taking back area, in the earthly
as well as in the spirit realm.
Thy mercy, O
LORD is in the heavens and thy faithfulness reaches to
the clouds.

Romana told me
before that besides oil, she also brought flower
fragrances on this trip, but she wasn’t sure where and
how to use them. The obelisk is flanked by two fountains
and I heard the Spirit in my heart whispering: “….in the
fountain”. At the same time, the oil and fragrances came
to my spiritual eyes. I suggested Romana to pour the
fragrances (lavender, roses and lily of the valley) in
one of the fountains, so the oils and fragrances will
continue to flow. This prophetic act releases a
continuation of God’s anointment and lovely fragrance
spiritual and natural (the flow from the fountain).
Later Erin followed by pouring out her oil and (Dutch)
salt after the pastor prayed for it. It was a special
moment in God’s presence.
Ascribe ye
strength unto GOD: HIS Excellency is over Israel and HIS
strength is in the clouds. Psalm
68:34
Some statues
decorating the fountain, illustrate gods and goddesses
of the sea. Others are half naked with bunches of grapes
in their lap, referring to an exuberant and obscene life
with lots of wine (drunkenness). We prayed in the mighty
name of Jesus to forgive this nation for a lawless
lifestyle. May His blood wash the sin of the city and
may His mercy endure. Romana proclaimed God’s almighty
name over the water of the fountain.
Our last mission
for that day was the glass pyramid in front of the
museum Louvre. Standing on the square and facing the
monument, we lifted our hearts to King Jesus. The
shofars sounded powerful, breaking strongholds with
every blow. Proclaiming the Lord God as our King and
Creator. Our prayers were sent of to heaven, carried by
the sound of the shofars.
Prior to our
journey to Paris, God told me that He will cause a
spiritual earthquake. By His grace, He will also give
open portals/open windows in Paris. As we finished our
prayers, I was drawn to the sky. I knew that God’s
Spirit led me. I saw an opening in the clouds where the
rays of the sun shone through. It was such a beautiful
sight! Gazing at the sky, God reminded me of His promise
to give open portals/windows. The sky above us looked
like one.
It was time to
say goodbye to Erin and her friends. From the very
beginning I sensed in the spirit that the Glory Ring had
to stay in France. As I received the Ring I was sure
about it. So in Paris I handed over the Glory Ring to
Erin and the pastor as a gift for the Salem Faith
Foundation Church from the Lord God, made by Jennifer
and brought to Paris by a Dutch intercessors team. It
was the 8th Glory Ring and we were with 8
people on that day; our team of five, Erin, the pastor
and another friend and member of the church. Fullness of
joy indeed!
Although
connected in the spirit we were complete strangers at
first, but we said goodbye as dear old friends, hugging
and embracing each other. We only spend a few hours
together but the unity and kindred spirits were just
amazing. It was a pity that we didn’t have time left for
fellowship because of the schedule of the bus driver.
Much later I
discovered that I accidentally left (or was it led by
the Holy Spirit?) my pair of anointing oils that
Jennifer sent me. It was in the bag with items belonging
to the Glory Ring, which I gave to Erin. So now Paris is
enriched with four bottles of anointing oils; my pair
and a pair that goes along with the Glory Ring.

EIFFEL TOWER
The next day we
visited the Eiffel tower. Back home Romana received
God’s words: “I want you to sing on the Eiffel tower for
Me. I love to take you into higher spheres”.
Higher spheres
indeed: 324 meters. We went all to the top. Eiffel tower
has thousands and thousands visitors each day. At the
top it was crowded, tourists off and on. It took a lot
of courage and boldness to pray, sing and blow the
shofar in front of all these people. Led by the spirit
we worshipped the Lord at the North, South, East, and
West side of the tower. The first time Ronald sounded
the shofar at the top, it was as if he was struck by
lightning, he said afterwards. He never experienced this
before. God’s power and anointing was very strong upon
him. “I was shaking and couldn’t stand straight for a
while” he said. Chains were broken with every sound of
the shofars.

Romana saw also
in the spirit flower fragrances coming out of the
André’s shofar as he sounded it. She sensed she had to
anoint him with flower fragrances anointing oil, which
she did. André was moved and touched by the Holy Spirit.
He started to sing and Romana held the white veil up
high; we were in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Later
she took the red and a white/silver “kings” veil (this
is how Romana calls it). She had to drape it around
Ronald’s shoulder and whisper God’s words to him, in the
same way she saw God doing this to Ronald. God thanked
Ronald for surrendering to Him in such a deep intimate
way. The Lord uplifted him to a higher spiritual level.
Father was very proud of his son, Ronald. We all are
uplifted to a higher spiritual level because of our
courage, faithfulness, boldness and surrendering. We are
a lovely scent to Him, Father said. That’s why Romana
had to bring the fragrances along.
At a certain
moment, the Spirit directed me to stand between Ronald
and André while they sounded the shofar. Three servants
of the Lord in earthly realm; three angels/watchers send
from heaven in spiritual realm, God said. God placed
three angels at the top of Eiffel tower to watch over
the city. Romana confirmed it, she had to stand between
Ronald and André earlier too; the Holy Spirit said the
same to her, she said. Almost at the same time, I also
saw eyes of God all around the top, outward-looking to
the city down below. I don’t mean a pair of eyes, but
many, many eyes of the Holy One.
Almost at the
end of our mission at the Eiffel tower, Romana prayed
while holding up the red and “kings” veil for the river
Seine as well. She asked Lord Jesus to cleanse the
river.
Then we thanked
the Lord for His guidance and protection, we were
fulfilled and joyful.
We spent about
four hours at the Eiffel Tower. Back on the ground
again, we headed towards the bus after a quick lunch. As
the last passengers took their seats in the bus, the sky
over Paris darkened, after several days of sunny warm
weather. Exactly at 8 min. to 5 pm. It started to rain.
The bus departed at 5 pm. We left Paris while it was
raining. It was as if the Lord wanted to say: “I wash
away sin, guild, lies and deception. I wash it all away
and start anew.”
PROPHETIC
VISION FROM PARIS
During the bus
trip home, God gave me the following vision. It was as
if I was watching a movie in the spirit. Quite intense
it was.
I saw the three
angels/watchers at the top of the Eiffel tower (the 8th
Paris-France Glory Ring has a scarf with a print of the
Eiffel tower). They held large golden veils in their
hands. The golden veils were luminous. The angels danced
with it. Suddenly a red veil appeared. I saw how it
flutters in the wind. One of the angels dropped the red
veil. I remembered Debby saying to Romana as we stood
at the top of the Eiffel tower in the afternoon, how she
(prophetically) saw the red veil, which Romana held in
her hands, floating downwards. And now, in the vision I
actually saw it happen. The red veil floating down,
enlarging itself. By the time the red veil reached the
big square at the foot of the tower, it covered the
whole square. Symbolizing the blood of Yeshua. High
above, the angels were still dancing and waving with the
luminous golden veils. Then , gold dust came off from
the veils. Like glittering snow or luminous raindrops it
swirled. The red veil at the bottom, caught all the
gold and glitter until it was full and heavy. I saw four
other angels coming from heaven. They picked the red
veil at each side. All four angels carried the red veil
way up high in the sky. I saw them flying over Paris. In
their flight, the red veil turned upside down and the
gold dust was spread all over the city. I watched God’s
golden glory whirling down. As it touched the ground, it
coloured green. Fresh springtime green. It was as if a
giant invisible brush painted Paris city green; the
houses…the buildings…..cars…..streets……squares……
I remembered
God’s first words spoken to me about Paris: “ Go in
spring……I will give a new beginning……..” Then, my
spiritual eyes turned to the Eiffel tower again. Angels
flying, carrying a garland of twinkling little stars.
They decorated spirally the Eiffel tower with it. How
lovely…..how beautiful.
Something else
drew my attention. Pillars of fire at all four wind
directions appeared at the horizon. The pillars were so
high that they touched the sky. Angles stood on guard
over these four pillars of fire. Whenever the flames
became weaker and weaker, the angels stirred it up with
their breath until the flames reached the sky again.
Father God on a
heaven’s throne with His sceptre in His hands watched
over Paris. I was able to hear angels sing songs for the
city. Next, manna descend from heaven. Daily manna,
daily living word, daily prophesies. Each time someone
prophesies, I saw the words of the prophesy turned into
flowers (the Paris Glory Ring has many scarves with
flower prints) The fragrance of it filled Paris.
I am writing
this vision in chronological order because the sequence
is significant.
After the part
of the prophesies, a piece of soap, which covered the
entire sky, appeared above Paris. I heard the words:
“……wash my hands in innocence”. God will set influential
people in the government and society straight. The
denials shall come to an end.
Then, writings
in the sky caught my eyes. These are the prayers, praise
and worship of God’s children send up to heaven. God
also made clear to me that these writings include the
releases and worship of the previous seven France Glory
Rings. Our God collected and fulfilled them all. The
vision ended.
I close with gratefulness to the Lord for His mercy and
grace.
