In the middle of the world The people pray They take their Sacred Pipe Given to the People by the Holy Woman Offer it to the Six Directions And point it at the Cross …to cast it out or raise themselves above it
They say “Mitakiyasin, We are all Related” …they don’t mean it
In the middle of the world The people pray They take their Cross and Holy Rosary Given to the People by the Holy Woman Offer it to the one God of all Creation and Eternity And point it at the Pipe …to cast it out or raise themselves above it
When they say “We are brothers and sisters in One human family” …they don’t mean it
In the middle of the world The people pray They take their Pipe, their Rosary, their lives Given to them by the Holy Woman And offer it in wonder to the One Who was in the beginning Is with us now and ever shall be
- When evil threatens - They renounce it, point it away And know that no other’s way Can cast them from this Holy place
- When alone - They give Glory
- When with others - They turn to the one beside them …and share it
When they say “We are Related, we are One” …they speak Eternal Truth
Those who divide They will become the keepers of brokenness And they will think they know
Those who find and walk the road of Truth They will be known as the peacemakers And they will become One people With many varied ways
To them the White Buffalo will come again To them the Christ will come again
