Oregon Coast ~ November 2004

11.05.04 ~ Pam Monnin, Sandi Traylor and I took day Prayer Journey through four cities along the northern Oregon Coast ~Seaside, Cannon Beach, Manzanita Beach and Tillamook. It was a quiet, simple day of prayer, intercession and grateful appreciation of the creativity of GOD.

11.09.04 ~ Through a supernatural miracle of the LORD arrangements were made for two nights at the beach for rest and more rest. Anyone who knows me knows that I deeply enjoy and treasure any time near the ocean. In the previous two weeks my apartment had been showered with smoke and soot due to a faulty chimney and faulty repair man, requiring an immediate evacuation to another apartment. This reprieve was a gift from GOD. As HIS is way HE continues develop HIS character in me. The days were filled with window shopping, beach combing, browsing through galleries, sipping hot mocha's and most of all enjoying the LORD's presence, power and light. It is often in these moments of quietness that HIS presence transforms us.

11.10.04 ~ Awoke at 5:55, an Isaiah 55:5 day for sure! We spent part of the day in Cannon Beach watching Peter Peterson paint.  The anointed and appointed time we spent in the gallery was filled with prophetic revelation, laughter, encouragement and fun. Peter is the son of Phil and Lynda Peterson, HGRM Advisors. Peter finished the above painting of the "Seven White Boats" while we were there. (Please don't buy the "Seven White Boats" painting, he has lots of others to choose from....I asked Peter to save it for me. Smiles!)

The weather was cloudy and cold so we spent the evening watching a movie about Tuscany, Italy where they celebrate the Palio de Lugio each summer. A Flag Festival with amazing flag dances.

11.11.04 ~ The weather turned to a brilliant blue sky, so we spent the day in Cannon Beach again, then went for a long walk on the beach....no wind, extravagantly warm weather for the Oregon Coast. Today when we left the gallery Peter was painting an Open Door. Along the sandy beach we found sand dollars, shells, sea stars and jelly fish. While taking the photos I really had no thought of creating a journal and releasing them on the web site, but the Holy Spirit encouraged me to release the photos trusting they will bless many of you that have not yet had the chance to walk along the Oregon Coast. We were simply captured by the beauty of the SON and the HIS sun and the LIGHT and HIS light.

Signs along the way: 222 (II Kings 2:22) 333 at 3:33 (Psalm 33:3 and Jeremiah 33:3), 777, 888.

Returning home refreshed, renewed and grateful for the time to be secluded by HIM.

A bondservant of the LORD,

Jennifer Lynn Joy
