Journal of Joy Mojave Valley, Arizona and Barstow, California - February 2004 Before
departing the Holy Spirit spoke to me that Arizona is very strategic trip.
I sent the following email to my leadership team for prayer. “The LORD
said HE was sending me as HIS volcano, tornado, hurricane and whirlwind -
that rather undid me.” 02.05.04 ~ The trip to Arizona was delayed 30 days due to PDX being closed as the result of a fierce ice storm the first week of January. Anticipation enveloped me as I waited for my flight...at 1:45 pm two fighter jets took off side by side in perfect harmony, then at 2:00 pm – two more followed suit. Delightfully, it was my first time to see them take off together – Praise the LORD for double portion, double anointing and where 2 or 3 are gathered in HIS name, HE is there! Email
from Deborah upon returning home: “The Thursday you left about 4:45 Montana
time, I had intense intercession for you. At first I saw you and then I
saw swirls in the air. After awhile there were small explosions in the air
that looked like conflicts in the spirit realm.
It seemed that the swirls represented things being stirred up in
the spirit realm.” The warm sunshine welcomed me to Arizona and immediately after collecting my luggage we headed west on Hwy 10 to Laughlin, NV. We arrived about 5.5 hours later and gratefully our rooms were prepared and ready. The first gift given to me on this trip was a "Black Leather Bomber Jacket" - a belated birthday gift from my Mom. 02.06.04 ~ We traveled up Historic Route 66 to the quaint little city of Oatman - a gold miner's town which is now know as the city with burros and gunfighters. A perfect place for HIS Abundant Glory Overflowing Anointing Oil! Signs along the way: Glory Hole, Fire House, Joy Lane, Hammer Lane, King St, MP234 – mileage 55011 (Isaiah 55/Hebrews 11). As we headed south, we passed the Mojave Valley Junior High and surrounding territory. The Holy Spirit gave me Isaiah 66 to pray over this territory. Later we met David Brooks and Cheryl King at the Agape Thrift. David received a suitcase with Glory Rings for China, Singapore-Malaysia, and the King's. The ministry received many scarves from the Agape Thrift Store. PTL! Signs along the way: Arizona 2 Hot, 888 HHA!
In
the evening David, Wendy, Cheryl, Chelsey, Steven, Pastor Alex, Michelle
and I met for dinner and fellowship on the Fort Mojave Reservation. GOD is
connecting HIS remnant throughout America. The Holy Spirit gave Pastor Alex
a dream previous to my arrival in AZ ....what I looked like and what I
would be wearing…..the dream was very accurate. During the evening,
Pastor Alex mentioned that the Holy Spirit kept showing him that a shaking
was coming, like an earthquake, GOD is shaking things. GOD's way of introducing
me to HIS own. Smiles! 02.07.04
~ After meeting for breakfast where Pastor Alex shared an inspiring
dream about eagles and the Holy Spirit gave us Isaiah 44, we departed for
the Colorado River where Nevada, Arizona and California meet. Our
company of six pour out oil, pray, prophecy change to the river, anoint
the signs and survey seals of 1969 and strike the hammer three times on
the California side. On the Arizona side of the river, Isaiah 44 is read
over the river and land......while I am prophetic proclaiming this
Scripture... a speed boat came jetting down the river leaving a wake of
white waves! Then David and Wendy took us on a Drive By Prayer Tour of
Mojave High School, Aha Macaw Arizona Village, Fort Mojave Reservation and
Mojave Tribal Cultural Center. At the end of the prayer tour we stopped by
the Agape Thrift Store. Signs along the way: Keystone, 888, Joy Lane,
Hammer Lane.
The afternoon held a prayer/prophetic season when Stephen gave me a handmade – hand carved Shepherd’s Staff and a rod for a friend. In 2003, he had sent a rod to me – therefore I am certain that I am double portion blessed beyond words! Glory to our KING SHEPHERD! In
the evening, on the way to David and Wendy's, there are two cars in front
of me with license plates....HZE....it was just so obvious. Twins...I
thought....double portion? So I inquired of the LORD, and HE
said.......Haggai, Zechariah, Ezra. Then when I arrived at David and
Wendy's one of their vehicles has the same HZE on the license plate. Now I
am really listening. Just a couple of weeks earlier the Holy Spirit really
highlighted Zechariah 1:8 in a dramatic way. Signs
along the way: Full Palette, HZE 001, HZE 721, HZE 806.
Jake
and Delvin Holmes had arrived at the Brooks just moments before me and
having been on the road for the previous ten hours, they were not planning
to stay. The Holy Spirit has HIS way and
for an hour or so we prayed, prophesied and enjoyed the sweet presence of
the LORD. HIS presence always changes things. During our time of prayer,
the Holy Spirit revealed to us information about a whirlwind in regards to
Jake and the call of GOD on his life. Jake and Delvin are brothers
to Pastor Alex - all a part of the Mojave Valley Ministries - also known
as the "Sons of Thunder." 02.08.04
~ Scriptures for
the day: Psalm 20,
Ephesians 1:15-18, Zechariah 9:12, Zechariah 6:12 –“Sprout” and Luke
11. David, Wendy and I left at 8:30 am heading for Barstow, CA with the Korea
Glory Ring. On the way, we were riding in a Gold Lincoln, traveling at 75 mph on I-40 (Isaiah 40) and the trunk lid mysteriously unlocks and opens wide on the freeway. David stopped the car and closed the trunk commenting that the trunk lid does not usually stay open on its own that normally it requires a rod to prop it open. When GOD wants a door open, HE will make sure it gets open, even lids to trunks that are locked! The Holy Spirit spoke about going in through the back door, unlocking a hidden treasure. When we arrive at the church, someone meets us in the parking lot, and escorts us through the back door to Living Waters Fellowship where Wes and Sally Beckmann minister the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST. We rejoice, as we know GOD has something very special planned! We cruised through Needles on the way home – did some Drive By Prayer over the Church of the Nazarene, United Methodist Church, Train Station, Mojave Tribe Justice and other points of Holy Spirit interest. Upon returning to Mojave Valley we spent time in prayer and ministry of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit spoke through David to me, "Everything you have poured out will be poured into you.” David, Rebecca and Wendy placed five Glory Rings over me - the fire of GOD was overtly intense. Truly, I was rather surprised as to the literal heat.....the LORD was allowing me to experientially feel HIS fire and increase my awareness that HIS Glory Rings, HIS Songs in Color are Rings of Covenant Fire. As I live in the Pacific Northwest, where the "Ring of Fire" is literally located - a volcanic chain of mountains. Then the Holy Spirit reminded me of a prophetic word spoken over me in 2000 regarding the Ring of Fire. HE has such a sense of humor! Smiles! 02.9.04
~ We met David in the morning for coffee before heading south to Yuma.
As we left the restaurant, in the parking lot, a fire truck with the
license plate HZE. There are many parables in the Scripture to four - four
pillars, four winds, four corners, Ezekiel 44:4...so much. It was
certainly an emphasis on Haggai, Zechariah and Ezra. We drove through
Needles, CA to Yuma. Needles is the gateway city to CA from AZ and the
gateway to AZ from CA. Signs along the way: Joy Lane, Hammer Lane,
Kleen Harvest, Arrow, Arrow, Arrow, Sundancer 778, CAT, CAT, Pacific
1600. Mohave Valley – tornado warning in the headlines
today....Only GOD! California Newspaper: Earthquake (6.4 magnitude)
predicted within 9 months in California – headlines in newspaper. We
arrive safely in Yuma by late afternoon. 02.10.04 – Yuma, Arizona held a blustery windstorm throughout the evening. We crossed over to Mexico in the afternoon, another lovely place to pour out HIS Glory Abundant Overflowing Anointing Oil - Praise the LORD! The LORD provided a tarp for me to wrap the Shepherd's staff and rods in to transport home. Glory! 02.11.04 ~ As we travel to Phoenix for my return flight home, I am delighted to see two fighter jets flying in harmony above in the open blue heaven. As we near our destination, a train is rolling along the flat desert landscape beside us but the cars are not single cars as is common in Oregon, they are "double - decker." One car is stacked upon another - double portion! Signs along the way: Forward Air, 888 4-Runner, Harvest, 55555, Country Roads – Almost Home. 02.12.04 ~ At the Phoenix airport, there is much hassle over bringing home the Staff and Rods. The one suitcase I am checking is 55 pounds. The Staff and Rods are 11.8 pounds. I am required to unpack the suitcase and put two pairs of shoes in my handbag, throw away a few things and wear the "Bomber Jacket" in order for the suitcase to weight 50 pounds. It seems GOD wanted HIS "Bomber" out of the suitcase. Twenty-five minutes later I am the "Selectee" at the Security Gate. An hour and half later I have arrived at the departure Gate. Smiles. Home safe. Each journey holds it own unique packages of challenges, changes, transitions, miracles, signs and wonders for HIS Glory! A bondservant of the LORD, Jennifer
