06.14.06 ~ Flag Day - A Banner Day for the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY! As I
opted to spend the previous evening with friends and the opportunity to
meet Bishop Steven Waweru of Nanyuki, Kenya, Africa ...anointing his
feet with oil and offering prayers for Africa, which meant arriving home
at midnight, then packing followed by taxi ride to the airport at
3:30 a.m. Therefore, the flight to Pensacola Florida was one of
peaceful slumber. Brenda Stuart and Jan Hicks picked me up at the
airport and as we had a bit of time, we stopped by a thrift store and
found scarves for the Africa Glory Ring that I had promised Bishop
Waweru the night before. Amazing provision of the LORD!
We took a brief tour of the city before meeting
Dena Bowden, Miss Caroline and Melissa Gibbs for dinner. There is
nothing quite like the cool of a southern sweetened tea and the way
the humid air embraces one so tightly. Welcome to the South!
Arriving in Elberta, Alabama later in the evening I was shown the Blue
Room where I would be staying for the week. And I do mean Blue
room. On the bed was a huge basket of chocolates and other soul soothing
gifts. Silently I am smiling on the inside as two weeks previous I had
sent a huge box of chocolate to friend on the other side of America...is
this the LORD's recompense? Smiles. Gratefully the room was equipped
with worship music, Glory Rings and air-conditioning. PTL! The Georgia
Girls would be arriving on Friday and they would have the Rose Room next
door. The Lion of Judah was there to welcome me as well. After retiring
to my room, I remembered that I usually take communion each
evening...and as the LORD's provision there was pre-wine (water) and a
cross-shaped cookie in the basket, decorated with God Bless You. Communion is always much more about my time with JESUS...sometimes the
elements available are not exactly kosher.
06.15.06 ~ I awakened early and noticed a spider bite on the top of
my right foot. Clearly a sign to pray more. Today was the C.U.M.I. Monthly
Luncheon so there was much to prepare for.
Barbara
Stephens ministered at the Christians United Ministries Monthly Luncheon
~ as per usual the LORD was having fun with miracles. After Barbara
finished ministering, the Holy Spirit directed me to wash her feet with
water and then pour HIS Pentecost Fire Anointing oil over them. As I was praying over her and
releasing the Word of the LORD to her, the oil and water completely
blended supernaturally. They became one just as the Water is symbolic of
the Holy Spirit and the oil is symbolic of the Anointing...they become
one in the spirit supernaturally through the resurrection power of JESUS
CHRIST.
As I am
in Seminary, my laptop joined me on this ministry trip as I had homework
that needed to be completed, so each day I faithfully worked on my
assignments and answered emails. This was a first on a ministry trip.
Jan took 100's of photos and a portion of them are posted on this web
site. As the trip was so full to overflowing, the Prayer Journeys are on
separate pages. That is also a first. In the afternoon we went to Becky
Durr's home for our first Prayer Journey:
06.15.06 ~ Perdido Bay, Florida followed
by a trip to a local store for Glory Ring supplies for Saturday's Workshop,
then we closed out the day with dinner at O'Charley's.
06.16.06 ~ On the way to Pensacola we stopped by 2nd Best Thrift
Store and were blessed beyond words with gifts. The Holy Spirit directed
me to leave copies of the books and bottles of Anointing Oil to Deborah.
The next stop was to pray over the location
of the workshop and then to Dena's:
06.16.06 ~ Pensacola Bay, Florida followed by another trip to
a local store to find more tacky glue for the workshop and were blessed by a
.25 cent sale on tassels! PTL! Returning to Alabama we stopped at Wolf Bay:
06.16.06 ~Wolf Bay Prayer Journey...and gratefully
home is just around the corner. Diana arrived at about
7:30 pm and then the Georgia Girls arrived a little later. On my way to
retire for the evening, a rather
nasty horsefly followed me to the blue room, gratefully Jan's eyes were
opened and so it was taken out. Thank you JESUS for someone to guard my
back! PTL! Truly am amazed at all that GOD is
accomplishing on this ministry trip. So much like JESUS! Miracle after
Miracle after Miracle!
06.17.06 ~ Beginning Prophetic
Glory Ring Workshop, Foley, Alabama
06.18.06 ~
Father's Day Prayer Journey
to Mississippi and Louisiana
06.19.06 ~ Jan wanted me to have a little vacation while I
was in Alabama so this was the day. We began with a Prayer Journey to
the Styx River with four bottles of oil, two Glory Rings and the shofar!
PTL! We prayed, poured oil, worshipped, interceded, blew the shofar and
invited the holiness, righteousness and justice of GOD to come to this
place! Seven days later:
Styx
River Raid
Associated Press, Monday, June 26, 2006
STYX RIVER, Ala. (AP) -
Baldwin County authorities rounded up about 35 people yesterday at a
strip along the Styx River known for rowdy parties. Charges ranged from
underage drinking to sex acts. State Marine Police worked with the
sheriff's office and others in targeting the area. Residents for months
have complained about the activity. Marine Police Lt. Ryan Bennett said
the illegal activity included underage drinking, narcotics, some
strong-arm robberies, sexual assaults, burglaries into cars. About half
of those arrested Saturday were minors. Officers said they found drug
paraphernalia in making the arrests. Authorities believe the area
attracts illegal activity because it is remote. There are not many roads
for police to patrol by vehicle and the water is too shallow to patrol
by boat. Authorities plan more patrols and expect more arrests.

On the way to
Alligator Alley, we stopped by a home in Summerdale, Alabama to pray and pour out
HIS Justice Anointing Oil. Alligator Alley is the vacation part of the
trip. Of course, the LORD provided a tour guide named Daryl from
Northampton, England. Smiles. As I am not particularly one who
enjoys reptiles - it seemed like a great opportunity to overcome some
fears and try some alligator hugging. Smiles. Alligators average about
12-13 feet in length. They normally eat 3 times a year and are a bit lazy
waiting for that opportune moment when something edible crosses their
path. They can go up to 1.5 years without any food. We were introduced to
the sleek 500 pounds of "Captain Crunch" who was in solitary
confinement, as you might imagine for literally "crunching his girlfriends." When
a hurricane comes, alligators just snuggle down in the mud and let the
hurricane pass on by.
When I first met Daryl, I thought to myself, Oh
Crocodile Dundee's cousin. Smiles. I was speechless most of the time from the
spiders, intense humidity and the knowledge of 120 alligators in this
little swamp. Jan took about 20 photos of me with the three-month-old baby alligator and
I am sharing just ONE with you -
well it took awhile before I could breathe and smile at the same time.
The difference between Crocodiles and Alligators is that Croc's are
about 10 feet longer at maturity and their teeth are on the outside.
Ahhhhh!
We left Alligator Alley to return to the 2nd Best
Thrift Store for more blessings of the LORD (four wedding dresses), a quick Prayer Journey with
HIS Pentecost Anointing Oil to a local resident, stopped at the local shop
where I posed as shark bait. Then to Flora-Bama, a well known beach bar
for another Prayer Journey along the Gulf of Mexico. Flora-Bama is on
the Alabama-Florida border with Orange Beach on the Alabama side and
Perdido Beach on the Florida side. The group playing at Flora-Bama was "Hellz
Yeah!"....maybe you might like to pray for their salvation.
Signs along the way home: New. Fresh. Unexpected.
Crossover. Increase.
After Flora-Bama we stopped by Wolf Bay for Jan to
release the sound of HIS GLORY through the shofar as we did not take it with us on the first day to Wolf
Bay. I love that GOD allowed room for us to add to a Prayer Journey. When
I first arrived in Florida, Jan asked me if I would like to ride on a
Harley. The smile on my face could not have been wider. Oh, YES! that I
would like! After we arrived home, I poured HIS Pentecost Fire
Anointing Oil through the
shofar and Jan released the sound to Alabama. The final Prayer Journey
was a 24-mile ride around the block on the back of Don's
Harley...along the way we stopped by Pirate's Cove.
The
Scriptures that were released in the five bottles of anointing oil are
listed on this
link. The prophetic names of the oils are: HIS Justice
Anointing Oil, HIS 58 Covenant Blessings Anointing Oil, HIS Holy
Righteous and Pure Fire Anointing Oil, HIS Pentecost Fire Anointing Oil
and HIS Crown and Key Anointing Oil.
06.20.06 ~ Departure day at 9:00 am Diana
stopped by to pick up the boxes of treasures from the thrift store to
ship to Oregon, gratefully Don loaded 100 pounds of luggage, Jan and I headed for
Pensacola Florida at 9:05 am. We stopped by Becky Durr's for Jan to
release the sound of HIS PRESENCE through the
shofar to Perdido Bay...and then headed for the airport. On the way, Jan
mentioned that the next time I am in Florida, she would like to take me
to Brien's Bistro. The flight was
delayed, delayed and then delayed again...so Jan altered the plans of
her day and took me to Brien's Bistro for lunch while we waited for the
flight. Sometimes our prayers are answered sooner than we expect!
Signs along the way: ~Victory ~ Freedom ~ 8 ~
As we are in a new season, this ministry trip held
many firsts!
~~~~~~~~~
With a grateful heart to all of the Christians
United Ministries Intercessors and HIS
Glory Ring Ministries Prayer Shield of which we encourage you
to pray about joining us.
Humbled to be a part of this prayer journey,
