PRAYER FOR THE GREAT STATE OF WEST VIRGINIA

OH BLESSED LORD GOD, ADONAI, THE SOVEREIGN KING OF THE UNIVERSE, FATHER GOD, in the name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth, we pray for Your Sovereign Power, Rule and Reign for the State of West Virginia. We pray for a release of YOUR Divine Tenderness, Forgiveness, Compassion, Knowledge, Mercy, Wisdom, Truth, Favor, Love, Anointing, Joy, Peace, Holiness, Purity, Righteousness, Integrity, Freedom, Unity, Discernment and Grace to the leadership and people of West Virginia. FATHER GOD, we pray for a heart of equality, repentance, kindness, gratefulness, forgiveness, and reconciliation among the people of West Virginia. We pray that every portal in the heavens and earth would be sealed by the blood and anointing of YESHUA, OUR RISEN KING! according to YOUR times, plans and purposes. We pray that YOU would release more angels to guard and protect all that belongs to YOU in heaven and earth. FATHER GOD, in the name of JESUS CHRIST, THE BRIGHT MORNING STAR we ask that the Commanded Blessing of the LORD GOD to be supernaturally released in the land and people of West Virginia and that the resurrection power of JESUS CHRIST, OUR MESSIAH be perpetually released throughout the state bringing forth YOUR GLORY! YOUR KINGDOM! YOUR LIGHT! YOUR LOVE and EVERLASTING LIFE! FATHER, we pray for YOUR KINGDOM to Come and YOUR WILL to be done in West Virginia. ABBA FATHER, we pray for the true heritage and spiritual blessings be released to those called by YOUR name in West Virginia. We pray that JESUS CHRIST, OUR MESSIAH will be the cornerstone upon which the families of West Virginia are founded. We pray for YOUR justice to replace the injustice in the court systems of West Virginia. We pray that every place of worship would be a place that worships the One True GOD. We pray for YOUR Righteous Shield of protection and GLORY to cover those dwelling in the land. We speak the fullness of fruitfulness, prosperity, providence and life to the land of West Virginia. We release a spirit of reverence and fear of the MOST HIGH GOD throughout the State of West Virginia. LORD GOD, we pray for the anointing, atonement and resurrection power of YESHUA, IMMANUEL over the State of West Virginia. Amen!  We pray for the LION OF JUDAH to roar over West Virginia and for the sound of the Shofar to be heard across the land! Amen!

STATE OF WEST VIRGINIA HISTORICAL INFORMATION AND SYMBOLS

FLAG: The white and the blue in the flag stand for purity of the state institutions and for the Union, respectively. The dated rock between the men in the arms represents stability and continuity, and the date is a factual reference to the day the state was founded. The man to the left, the farmer, and the man to the right, the miner, represent the two main industries of West Virginia. The Phrygian cap, which is a symbol of liberty, and the rifles recall that the state won its freedom, and will defend itself with the force of arms.

• SEAL: The State constitution of West Virginia designates the seal designed by Joseph H. Diss Debar and chosen by a legislative committee in 1863 as the official state seal. The present seal of the State, with its motto: Montani Semper Liberi, shall be the great seal of the State of West Virginia and shall be kept by the secretary of state to be used by him officially as directed by law.

• ORIGIN OF NAME: Named after England's Queen Elizabeth I, the "virgin queen."
