PRAYER FOR THE GREAT STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA

OH BLESSED LORD GOD, ADONAI, THE SOVEREIGN KING OF THE UNIVERSE, FATHER GOD, in the name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth, we pray for Your Sovereign Power, Rule and Reign for the great State of Pennsylvania. This state was founded on the principle of liberty and we decree and declare the liberty that is known through JESUS CHRIST. We ask that YOU release YOUR keys of Mercy, Justice, Integrity, Tenderness, Kindness, Goodness, Wisdom, Truth, Favor, Discernment, Righteousness and Grace to the leadership and people of Pennsylvania. We pray that YOUR Anointing, Holiness, Purity and Cleansing Power would be released to those dwelling in the State of Pennsylvania. ABBA FATHER, we pray for a heart of equality, repentance, kindness, gratefulness, forgiveness, and reconciliation among the people of Pennsylvania. We pray that every portal in the heavens and earth would be sealed by the blood of YESHUA according to YOUR times, plans and purposes. We pray that YOU would release more angels to guard and protect all that belongs to YOU in heaven and earth. FATHER, in the name of JESUS, we ask that the Commanded Blessing of ADONAI to be poured abundantly over the land and people of Pennsylvania and that the resurrection power of YESHUA, OUR MESSIAH be perpetually released throughout the state bringing forth YOUR GLORY! YOUR KINGDOM! YOUR LIGHT! YOUR LOVE and EVERLASTING LIFE! FATHER, we ask that, YOUR kingdom come and YOUR will be done in Pennsylvania and that YOU raise up those called by YOUR name to walk more fully in YOUR redemptive consuming love. We pray that every place of worship is a place that worships the One True GOD in spirit and in truth! We release a spirit of reverence and fear of the MOST HIGH GOD throughout the State of Pennsylvania. LORD GOD, we pray for the anointing, atonement and resurrection power of YESHUA, OUR MESSIAH over the State of Pennsylvania. Amen! We pray for the LION OF JUDAH to roar over Pennsylvania and for the sound of the Shofar to be heard across the land! Amen!

EXCERPT FROM THE STATE CONSTITUTION...PENNSYLVANIA 1776, PREAMBLE. We, the people of Pennsylvania, grateful to Almighty God for the blessings of civil and religious liberty, and humbly invoking His guidance...

STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA HISTORICAL INFORMATION AND SYMBOLS

Pennsylvania

FLAG: Pennsylvania's State Flag is composed of a blue field on which is embroidered the State Coat of Arms. The flag is flown from all state buildings, and further displayed on any public building within the Commonwealth is provided for by law. The first State Flag bearing the State Coat of Arms was authorized by the General Assembly in 1799. During the Civil War, many Pennsylvania regiments carried flags modeled after the U.S. Flag, but substituted Pennsylvania's Coat of Arms for the field of stars. An act of the General Assembly of June 13, 1907, standardized the flag and required that the blue field match the blue of Old Glory.

  • SEAL: The State Seal has two faces: the obverse, which is the more familiar face and the one most often referred to as the State Seal, and the reverse, or counter-seal, which is used less frequently. The State Seal is in the custody of the Secretary of the Commonwealth. When Pennsylvania was still a province of England, its seals were those of William Penn and his descendants.

  • COAT OF ARMS: Pennsylvania's Coat of Arms, while not used in the same official capacity as the State Seal, is perhaps a more familiar symbol of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It appears on countless documents, letterheads, and publications, and forms the design on Pennsylvania's State Flag. Provincial Pennsylvania's coat of arms was that of the Penn family. A state coat of arms first appeared on state paper money issued in 1777.

  • STATEHOOD: December 12, 1787, 2nd State in the Union.

  • NICK NAME: The Keystone State. The word keystone comes from architecture and refers to the central, wedge-shaped stone in an arch, which holds all the other stones in place.

  • MOTTO: Virtue, Liberty, and Independence

  • CAPITAL: Harrisburg
