PRAYER FOR THE GREAT STATE OF OHIO
OH BLESSED LORD GOD, ADONAI, THE SOVEREIGN KING OF THE UNIVERSE, FATHER GOD,
in the name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth, we pray for YOUR Sovereign Power,
Rule and Reign for the great State of Ohio. FATHER, we call forth a heart of
equality, repentance, forgiveness, and reconciliation among the families of
Ohio. We ask that you release YOUR Divine Mercy, Wisdom, Truth, Favor,
Discernment, Tenderness, Compassion, Love, Joy, Peace, Righteousness,
Purity, Holiness, Kindness and Grace to the leadership and people of Ohio.
FATHER, in the name of YESHUA, OUR RISEN SAVIOR, we ask that the Commanded
Blessing of the LORD GOD be poured over the land and people of Ohio and that
the resurrection power of YESHUA, OUR MESSIAH be perpetually released
throughout the state bringing forth YOUR GLORY! YOUR KINGDOM! YOUR LIGHT! &
EVERLASTING LIFE! FATHER, we ask that, YOUR Kingdom come and YOUR Will be
done in Ohio and that YOU graciously release YOUR laborers for the harvest
in Ohio, that those called by YOUR name would set their faces like flint to
walk in obedience to YOUR word and will for their lives. We pray that every
portal in the heavens and earth would be sealed by the blood and anointing
of YESHUA, OUR KING according to YOUR times, plans and purposes. We pray
that YOU would release more angels to guard and protect all that belongs to
YOU in heaven and earth. We pray that every place
of worship will be a place that worships the One True GOD in spirit,
freedom, holiness and in truth. We ask that YOUR River of Peace, Joy, Purity
and Holiness flood the land. We pray for the fullness of YOUR signs, wonders
and miracles to be released in Ohio through the power of JESUS CHRIST. We
ask for healing and provision in all realms according to YOUR riches in
Glory. We release a spirit of reverence and fear of the MOST HIGH GOD
throughout the State of Ohio. LORD GOD, we pray for the atonement,
anointing and resurrection power of JESUS CHRIST over the State of Ohio.
Amen! We pray for the LION OF JUDAH to
roar over Ohio and for the sound of the Shofar to be heard across the land!
Amen!

STATE OF OHIO HISTORICAL INFORMATION AND SYMBOLS

FLAG: Unique among the state flags of the union, the Ohio State Flag was
designed by John Eisemann. Described as a pennant, the Ohio burgee is properly
a swallowtail design. It was adopted in 1902. The union of the flag,
a large blue triangle is populated with seventeen white stars. Those that are
grouped around the circle represent the thirteen original colonies. The four
stars found at the apex of the triangle combine with the stars of the thirteen
original colonies to total seventeen. Ohio was the seventeenth state to enter
the union. Three red and two white horizontal stripes and the blue field copy
the red, white and blue of the Stars and Stripes. The blue field represents
Ohio's hills and valleys. The stripes represent the roads and waterways of the
state.

-
SEAL: The State Seal was redesigned and the Legislature officially
adopted Ohio's modern version in 1967, modifying it in 1996. The Scioto River
flows across the center of the seal, separating cultivated fields from Mount
Logan. Thirteen rays of a rising sun radiate over the mountain, symbolizing
the 13 original colonies. In the foreground stands a sheaf of wheat,
representing agriculture and bounty. Mimicking the sheaf of wheat is a bundle
of 17 arrows, symbolizing Ohio as the 17th state to join the Union.
