PRAYER FOR THE GREAT STATE OF DELAWARE

OH BLESSED LORD GOD, ADONAI, THE SOVEREIGN KING OF THE UNIVERSE, FATHER GOD, in the name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth, we pray for Your Sovereign Power, Rule and Reign for the First State of America, Delaware. We ask that YOU design the hearts of the people and leadership of Delaware in a multi-faceted shape like a diamond with YOUR Mercy, Justice, Wisdom, Truth, Love, Joy, Anointing, Peace, Goodness, Holiness, Purity, Favor, Integrity, Discernment, Righteousness and Grace. ABBA FATHER, we pray for a heart of equality, repentance, kindness, forgiveness, and reconciliation among the people of Delaware. FATHER, in the name of JESUS, we ask that the Commanded Blessing of the MOST HIGH GOD be released in the land and people of Delaware and that the resurrection power of JESUS be perpetually released throughout the state bringing forth YOUR GLORY! YOUR KINGDOM! YOUR LIGHT! YOUR LOVE! and EVERLASTING LIFE! FATHER, we pray for the consuming fire of GOD to be released in Delaware, that YOUR KINGDOM will come and YOUR WILL be done in Delaware. We pray that every portal in the heavens and earth would be sealed by the blood of Jesus according to YOUR times, plans and purposes. We pray that YOU would release more angels to guard and protect all that belongs to YOU in heaven and earth. We proclaim Liberty, Freedom, Unity and Favor of JESUS CHRIST over Delaware. We pray for the release of an attitude of reverence, gratitude, humility and fear of the MOST HIGH GOD throughout the State of Delaware. We pray that every place of worship is a place that worships the One True GOD in spirit and in truth. LORD GOD, we pray for the anointing, atonement and resurrection power of YESHUA, OUR MESSIAH over and through the State of Delaware. Amen! We pray for the LION OF JUDAH to roar over Delaware and for the sound of the Shofar to be heard across the land! Amen!

STATE OF DELAWARE HISTORICAL INFORMATION AND SYMBOLS

FLAG: Adopted on July 24, 1930. The date on the flag recalls the day in which Delaware was the first state to ratify the Federal Constitution. The orange diamond is a symbol of the state's nickname, the Diamond State. On the coat of arms in the seal adopted in 1777, the cow indicates the main industry of agriculture. The blue wavy stripe is the symbol of the Delaware river and the ship in the crest is a reminder of Delaware commerce by access to the sea.

• SEAL: The State Seal was first adopted on January 17, 1777 and contains the coat of arms. It also bears the inscription around it, "Great Seal of the State of Delaware" and the dates 1704, 1776, 1787. Descriptions of the contents of the seal are as follows: The Wheat Sheaf - was adapted from the Sussex County seal and signifies the agricultural vitality of Delaware. The Ship - as a symbol of New Castle County's ship building industry and Delaware's extensive coastal commerce. The Corn - is taken from the Kent County Seal and also symbolizes the agricultural basis of Delaware's economy. The Farmer - with the hoe represents the central role of farming to the State. The Militia man - with his musket recognizes the crucial role of the citizen-soldier to the maintenance of American liberties. The Ox - represents the importance of animal husbandry to the state economy. The Water -  stands for the Delaware River and the main stay of the State's Commerce and transportation. The Motto - was derived from the Order of Cincinnati and approved in 1847.
