PRAYER FOR THE GREAT STATE OF COLORADO

OH BLESSED LORD GOD, ADONAI, THE SOVEREIGN KING OF THE UNIVERSE, FATHER GOD, in the name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth, we pray for YOUR Sovereign Power, Rule and Reign for and the State of Colorado. We ask that you release YOUR Divine Forgiveness, Compassion, Joy, Love, Knowledge, Mercy, Wisdom, Truth, Justice, Holiness, Purity, Discernment, Favor, Anointing, Righteousness and Grace to the leadership and people of Colorado. FATHER GOD, we pray for a heart of repentance, kindness, equality, forgiveness, and reconciliation among the people of Colorado. ABBA FATHER, in the name of JESUS CHRIST, OUR RISEN LORD we pray for the Commanded Blessing of the LORD GOD to be supernaturally released in the land and people of Colorado. We fervently pray for the resurrection power of JESUS CHRIST, THE PRINCE OF PEACE to be perpetually released throughout the state bringing forth YOUR GLORY! YOUR KINGDOM! YOUR LIGHT! YOUR LOVE! and EVERLASTING LIFE! FATHER GOD, we pray for YOUR Kingdom to come and YOUR Will to be done in Colorado and that YOU graciously release YOUR healing winds, divine power and restoring love through Colorado. We pray that every place of worship is a place that the One True GOD is worshipped in spirit, freedom and truth. We pray that every portal in the heavens and earth would be sealed by the blood and anointing of YESHUA, OUR MESSIAH according to YOUR times, plans and purposes. We pray that YOU would release more angels to guard and protect all that belongs to YOU in heaven and earth. We ask for YOUR Righteous Shield of Protection and cloud of GLORY over Colorado and the families that dwell within. We pray that the light of JESUS CHRIST would be increased in all the believers throughout the State and that the destiny of JESUS CHRIST would be released through them. We pray for supernatural protection from terrorism and that YOUR justice would replace all injustice throughout Colorado. We release a spirit of reverence and fear of the MOST HIGH GOD throughout the State of Colorado. FATHER GOD, we pray for the anointing, atonement and resurrection power of JESUS CHRIST, THE LION OF JUDAH over the State of Colorado that YOUR GLORY may be known! Amen! We pray for the LION OF JUDAH to roar over Colorado and for the sound of the Shofar to be heard across the land! Amen!

STATE OF COLORADO HISTORICAL INFORMATION AND SYMBOLS

FLAG: Adopted on June 5, 1911 by an act of the General Assembly. The flag consists of three alternate stripes of equal width and at right angles to the staff, the two outer stripes to be blue of the same color as in the blue field of the national flag and the middle stripe to be white, the proportion of the flag being a width of two-thirds of its length. At a distance from the staff end of the flag of one fifth of the total length of the flag there is a circular red C, of the same color as the red in the national flag of the United States. Completely filling the open space inside the letter C is a golden disk, attached to the flag is a cord of gold and silver, intertwined, with tassels, one of gold and one of silver. The flag was originally designed by Andrew Carlisle Johnson in 1911.

• SEAL: By statute, the seal of the State is two and one-half inches in diameter with the following devices inscribed thereon: At the top is the eye of God within a triangle, from which golden rays radiate on two sides. Below the eye is a scroll, the Roman fasces, a bundle of birch or elm rods with a battle axe bound together by red thongs and bearing on a band of red, white and blue, the word, "Union and Constitution." The Roman fasces is the insignia of a republican form of government. The bundle of rods bound together symbolizes strength. The axe symbolizes authority and leadership. Below the scroll is the heraldic shield bearing across the top on a red ground three snow-capped mountains with clouds above them. The lower half of the shield has two miner's tools, the pick and the sledge hammer, crossed on a golden ground. Below the shield in a semicircle is the State Motto: Nothing without the Deity, and at the bottom the figures 1876, the year Colorado came into Statehood.
