PRAYER FOR THE GREAT STATE OF ALABAMA
OH BLESSED
LORD GOD, ADONAI, THE SOVEREIGN KING OF THE UNIVERSE,
FATHER GOD, in the name of JESUS
CHRIST of Nazareth, we pray for YOUR Sovereign Power, Rule and Reign for
the State of Alabama. We ask for a release YOUR Divine Mercy, Wisdom, Truth,
Favor, Tenderness, Compassion, Knowledge, Anointing, Justice, Holiness, Purity, Righteousness and Grace to the
leadership and people of Alabama. ABBA FATHER, we ask for a heart of
equality, repentance, forgiveness, and reconciliation among all the
people of Alabama. FATHER, in the name of JESUS CHRIST, OUR MESSIAH we pray the
Commanded
Blessing of the LORD GOD to be released in the land and people of Alabama and that
the resurrection power of JESUS be perpetually released throughout the
state bringing forth YOUR GLORY! YOUR KINGDOM! YOUR LIGHT! YOUR LOVE!
and EVERLASTING LIFE! FATHER, we ask that, YOUR Kingdom come and YOUR
Will be done in Alabama and that YOU graciously release YOUR courage,
unity, harmony, love, and kindness throughout Alabama and pour forth new oil, new wine,
new grain and new songs throughout the land. We proclaim that every
place of worship will be a place that worships the One True GOD in
spirit and in truth. We pray for the fullness of YOUR HOLY SPIRIT to be
released in the hearts of YOUR people.
We pray
that every portal in the heavens and earth would be sealed by the blood
and anointing of YESHUA, OUR RISEN SAVIOR according to YOUR times, plans and purposes. We pray that YOU
would release more angels to guard and protect all that belongs to YOU
in heaven and earth. We ask for a release of a spirit of reverence
and fear of the MOST HIGH GOD over the State of Alabama. LORD GOD, we
pray for the anointing, atonement and resurrection power of YESHUA, OUR KING over the State of Alabama. Amen!
We pray for the LION OF JUDAH to
roar over Alabama and for the sound of the Shofar to be heard across the
land! Amen!

STATE OF ALABAMA HISTORICAL INFORMATION AND SYMBOLS
 |
FLAG: Alabama
state flag was adopted on Feb. 16, 1895. The state flag was to
be a crimson cross of St. Andrew on a field of white. The bars
forming the cross were not to be less than 6 inches broad and
must extend diagonally across the flag from side to side. |
SEAL: The seal contains the
words: Alabama Great Seal within two concentric circles. Inside is a map
showing Alabama's principle rivers, and portions of the four states that
border Alabama (Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida), along
with the Gulf of Mexico bordering the southern tip, are also included.
Custody of the Great Seal was officially transferred from the governor
to the secretary of state in 1852. The Reconstruction Legislature
abolished the use of that seal in 1868, and it is believed the Secretary
of state Charles A. Miller (1868-70) suggested the new seal's design,
which featured an eagle and shield. John Brandon was secretary of state
in 1939 when the Legislature passed a law changing the seal back to a
design more in keeping with that of the original.
COAT OF ARMS: A shield carrying flags of the five nations that
have held sovereignty over Alabama—Spain, France, Great Britain, and the
Confederacy. The union binding these flags is the shield of the United
States in the center. The crest of the Coat of Arms, atop the shield, is
the ship, Badine, which brought French colonists who established the
first permanent white settlement in Alabama. The shield is supported by
two American bald eagles on either side, which symbolize courage. Below
the shield is a scroll with the state motto in Latin, We Dare Defend Our
Rights. The act to adopt an official Coat-of-Arms for the State of
Alabama was approved March 14, 1939.
